WhiteToMove is designed to work without an account. This page explains what is stored on your device and which third-party services help operate the site.
Progress on this device
Daily results, opening-training progress, theme settings, and streaks are stored in your browser. Clearing browser storage removes that data. Account-based sync may be offered later as an optional feature.
Anonymous product analytics
WhiteToMove uses analytics to understand aggregate visits, puzzle completion, and product reliability. The site does not ask for your name, chess account, or contact information to play.
Advertising
Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can learn more in Google's advertising policies.
Your choices
You can limit cookies in your browser, clear local progress at any time, or use browser privacy controls. Some advertising or analytics features may not function after those changes, but the core chess trainer remains usable.
